Laboratorio
Limited utility, choice based on history and clinical findings, should include prick testing for medications and foods. Routine screening tests (CBC, automated chemistry).

Orticaria vasculite, esantemi maculopapulari, Sindrome di Sweet, erythema multiforme.
Terapia
- Orticaria acuta: sistemici: antistaminici H1, forse in combinazione con H2-antagonisti; se severe prendere in considerazione l'utilizzo di corticosteroidi sistemici.
- Orticaria cronica: antistaminici H1 combinato con H2 antagonisti. In casi reffratari, corticosteroidei sistemici, agenti immunosorpressori come la ciclosporina A; in casi selezionati una dieta speciffica puo' essere appropriata.
